Highlights at this point:
- For the second year in a row, ERS has offered RSEA use of the new ERS building, the 1836 Building – located at 1836 San Jacinto Boulevard, near the State Capitol in Austin -- for our 2026 Annual Membership Meeting.
- We are working busily on agenda details, lining up speakers, sponsors, vendors, and door prizes. We’ll have the ever-popular update from Porter Wilson, ERS ED, on our pension and retiree healthcare programs, and the upcoming 2027 Legislature.
- Returning also will be the traditional RSEA free barbeque lunch provided by the historic Scholz Garten -- free for each attending RSEA member plus one guest. If you have no spouse or significant other, we encourage you to bring a potential new member to help strengthen our membership rolls and RSEA’s voice during the legislative session.
- Please be sure your membership dues are paid up-to-date so you can enjoy the various exclusive members-only benefits, as well as exclusive AMBA discounts.
- The meeting will emphasize in-person attendance but a virtual attendance option will be provided for those not able to attend in person.
